Thanks for going beyond the assignment demonstrating that what really matters is learning. The program app Animoto is one tool to help create videos from images and videos and pictures and allows for adding sound tracks. Others are available as well and not all require purchasing the app (something to keep in mind). And, as to your rubric, I wanted to share one of the struggles I've seen over the years, and that is with a column with a variable score in the heading, so "2-1" or "4-3" cause some students to questions the lower value (I haven't heard any question the higher value :) If the rubrics we use with students only have one value for that column, then the reason for that point system is clear, they have not met the requirements for the next higher column, but have met the requirements for the next lower column. Shared just as a tip for us all.
